Obituary of Sylvia Jeanne Blain

BLAIN, Mrs. Sylvia Jeanne Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, February 14, 2016, at the age of 77 years. Beloved wife of Ken for 55 years. Dear mother of Brenda Miner (Bruce), Heather Straatman (Garry), and Brad Blain (Marsha). Grandmother of Lee Miner, Pam Cundick, Scott Miner, Dale Miner, Alyssa Bunning, Troy Straatman, Mallory Straatman, Noah Blain, Connor Blain, and Mackenzie Blain. Great-grandmother of Charlotte Miner. Also survived by her sister in law Marjorie Sercombe, Beth Holbrook, and Helen Reid. Predeceased by her parents, the late Clarence & Sylvia Crockard, and her mother and father in law, Mina & William Blain; and her sister in law Eleanor Skillen, Rose Blain, her brother in law Don Blain. Visitation will take place at Denning’s of Forest, 9 James Street South, Forest, on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place in the chapel on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at 11:00 am. Interment to take place at a later date.
