To all extended family members of Marie, I wish to add my condolences at this time of Marie's passing. Marie and I attended West Lorne Public School together a few decades ago and reflecting on that time last night, many images flooded my memories - Playing on the swings and "the bars", hopscotch, marbles, tag, snow forts and snow ball fights, baseball - in the two opposite ends of the play ground, depending on our age. And some of our playmates: Betty Ann Graham. Mary Lou McCallum, Pat Glenn, the Graham twins Terry and Wayne, Eddie Bell, Roland Bitterman and many more. And that handsome, blonde little Dutch boy (can't remember his name - Bobby something) who came to our school in grade 4. He could hand stands and all the girls had a crush on him! Those were good days. I later years, I taught Marie's granddaughter, Jenny Reiss who was friends with my daughter in grade school. I could always see Marie in her beautiful smile and pretty round face. How the wheels of our lives turn... I remember Marie as being quiet, kind, gentle and very pretty with her dark black hair. I am sure she will be greatly missed by her family, and I am also sure they have many, many wonderful memories of her to warm their hearts.

My heart is saddened by the passing of Marie. My heartfelt condolences to her family at this difficult time. Times like this take us away from our present and lead us down memory lane which with Marie are wonderful memories. Her laugh made everyone feel happy . My sister Joan and Marie were close and I was kept informed of family happenings. Joan took her sewing needs to Marie and we saw the fantastic results as I am sure when you look around at her family you can see the positive threads she has sewed into their lives.
