Obituary of Marie Jackson

Marie Jackson died at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Thursday, December 3rd, 2015 at the age of 79. Marie was surrounded by her children Lynda Kerr (Bob) of Watford, Karen Blondin (Mike) of Bright’s Grove, Richard Jackson of London, and Kate O’Shea (Bill) of Strathroy. She was predeceased by her husband Phil in 2007, her sister Barb Gusten, and her parents Orval “Tiny” and Martha “Susie” Armes. Marie is remembered fondly by her sisters Joan LeCuyer of Victoria, Nancy Mott, and Lorna Edmonson of Thunderbay, her five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Marie will be missed always for her quiet ways, gentle smile, and her big Sapphire blue eyes. She loved to feed you, especially sweets and pitch in when needed. Mostly she loved to play any type of game put in front of her, then watch out! A Memorial Service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Strathroy, on Saturday, December 12th, 2015 at 1pm. A luncheon will follow in the parish hall.
