I was shocked to hear that Matt had died. My daughter sent me the info (she works at the Ridgetown campus of U of Guelph). I was fortunate enough to have Matt as a student for 2 years and he worked with me for one summer. I thoroughly enjoyed both experiences. He was good-humored, kind, hard-working and was the kind of guy that made friends easily. I am writing here mainly because I am out of the country at present but wanted to say how how sorry I am for your loss.
