We are sorry that Jim couldn't recover from his illness. All the time we knew him and watched him work we came to appreciate his calm demeanor and hard work ethic despite not feeling well. We will miss him. Love from all of us.

Marjorie, Allen, Tim, Terry and Family; My condolences to you for your loss of your soulmate, father and friend. As with so many of the people who have offered their sympathies on this page, I have so many great memories of Uncle Jim. He was, without a doubt, a good man with a big heart. Quick to laugh and smile, with a kind heart. He will be missed. There may be many miles between us, but you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Marj, I wanted to take a moment to say how blessed we all have been in knowing Uncle Jim. A man of courage, solid in knowing who he was and what was important in life. He loved us all and he was there every step of the way through the happy pieces and those that were incredibly hard and difficult. You were both the example of what becomes of two people that completely love and share their lives together and you did become one in mind, body and soul. You had in a lifetime what the majority search for and will hopefully find one day! You are loved at this moment and surrounded by your friends and family which comes from a lifetime of giving and caring for others. You have our love and support always, Margaret and Meghan

Marj we're so sorry about Jim. You two were like 2 peas in a pot, always together and never seen you chew each others heads off unless you got up before he got done his breakfast lol We have lots of memories and that will always be with us, after 40 years together you become 1 and that's going to be very hard for you so with saying that please call us if you need anything and we mean that with all our hearts. Jim was a good man and the neighbourhood won't be the same without him that for sure. Our kids will also cherish the memories,pictures,vacations together in the motor home and trips to uncle bill's place. He was certainly a good godfather to his little girl-michelle and boy-donnie and that I say thank you to you both Sending all our love ---your neighbours,friends Don,Deb,Michelle,Donnie and Allison
