It's my first shift back on Don's unit here at Elgin Manor and my heart is heavy. It feels like part of the unit is missing. I will miss his whistling and his contagious smile so much. RIP Don, You were and will always be loved by the nursing staff here.

Dear Betty, Beth and Family, I'm so sorry to learn of Don's passing! He was truly one of my best friends and I thought of him often...especially when the "Blackhawks" won their last two Stanley Cups!! We had many, wonderful conversations about "our" Hawks and he even bought us tickets to a Hawks-Wings game in Detroit in 1984. (I still have the ticket stubs and his "thank you" note) He was a great guy and he will be sadly missed! Sincerely, Perry Willits
