I am saddened to find Keith's obituary and I would like to send my condolences to the family. I met him only once several years ago at his home when we spent some time together discussing our common family background. He took me to the cemetery and told me bits of McLean/McKinlay/Willson history. He also sent me the family tree with explanations and footnotes. Unfortunately, our homes are a long way apart. I wish I had known him while I was growing up in Ridgetown. Today I have learned that we were both graduates of Guelph although not classmates.
This is a lovely tribute to him. Someone has used a lot of creativity and spent a lot of time collecting photographs of him, his family, and his many interests. His contributions in so many ways were very valuable.
Now I feel that I know him a little better and I certainly regret that I couldn't have spent more time with him.
Thank you for doing this.

Thinking of all of you at this time of loss. Keith was such a kind and lovely soul! I can close my eyes right now and hear his incredible tenor voice singing beautiful solos in the choir at the church...such vivid memories. Wishing I could have given these condolences in person. Sending all of you deepest sympathies with blessings.

thanks for the trip down memory lane with your family.
it was through the horticultural society that i met keith and marie.
it's been nothing but a pleasure to visit, learn, laugh and chat with keith.
his concern for marie was always visable as well as his care taking of the environment and his homestead. you were a fortunate person to have crossed paths with this man. his mark on the lives around him will live on joyously.
i was fortunate to have seen keith a few days before he moved on. i was thankful because i was able to tell him how i felt and that i'd miss him.
keith and marie were key figure on the dance floor at jack's and my wedding in 2004. what a treat it was to watch them glide around the floor. (all night)
for the most part that is how i wish to remember him. smiling, laughing, enjoying being in the arms of his love marie.

Ross and Family:
My deepest condolences. The slides of your father show a man of community involvement with a passion for history and the farm life. The love his grandchildren have for him is obvious in their smiles and sparkling eyes. May you all find healing in the joy of knowing Keith McLean Kelly will be remembered in a special way for the gifts he gave to many by the life he lived.
Please take this time to celebrate his life together with family and friends and heal your hearts.

Our sincere condolences to Marie and family. We have only known Keith personally for the past three years but we will forever have him in our thoughts. He was a kind, witty, and extremely knowledgeable indvidual. Keiths passion for the Havens family research over many years obviously brought him great pride and enjoyment and will be a legacy for him eternally. As a fellow genealogist and cousin I am greatful to Keith for his generosity in sharing his family history with me and my family. He will certianly be missed.

We truly are going to miss the St. Times-Journal's beloved weather prognosticator. Four times a year we had the distinct pleasure of calling Keith for his predictions on the coming season. And far more often than not, Keith was spot on with his forecast.
A blessing however in that every day in heaven will be blessed with a little brighter sunshine with Keith at the weather desk.
