Jason and Family, Although I did not know your father I feel I can say that he was a wonderful man to have raised such an amazing son/family. I know words cannot heal your pain but time will slowly turn your sorrows into wonderful cherished memories. You and your family will keep him alive by talking about about him, passing down stories about his great accomplishments and life from one generation to the next. I know from the loss of my mother that time does not heal all wounds but I promise it does get easier, just hold your family and friends near and lean on them for support. You will have good days and bad days, you will be reminded of him at the most random times.Let your tears flow as it helps heal your heart. It takes courage and strength to overcome this, draw from your fathers strength and it will help you all get through this difficult time. My thoughts are with you and your family as you try to heal and move forward without the great patriarch of the VanHee family <3

Dear Valerie and family, So sorry to hear of our loss. It is a long time ago that we have seen you in Belgium. But I remember that you were very very nice persons. I hope that your children and grandchildren help you with the lost of Joe. Thinking of you. Deepest heartfelt sympathies to Lisa and Family for the loss of someone so dear and special.. You and your Family are in my prayers....may you find the peace you deserve. He loved you all dearly, and spoke highly of each of you.. Joe & I began as a "business' agreement, and soon became comrades..someone each could count on to listen to, laugh with, and be honest with. He was a wealth of information & knowledge & stories. He had talent and skills that never ceased to amaze me. Thursdays will never be the same again... and I thank you for that honour.. Hi Guys, Just wanted to say that we are here if you need anything. We wish you guys the best and hopefully all will get together, rejoice and celebrate Joe's life. Joe cared for me just as a father would and I will certainly miss his positive attitude. He showed me that even though life deals you some bad cards, you make the best of it and to always put your best foot forward. I remember Joe visiting me when my dad was sick and will never forget his message. He gave me strength to move on and make the best of my life.
