Steve was my baseball coach when we won the Bantam Ontario Championship in 1973 (and Ken was involved as well). Looking back, this was a great time and we were so fortunate to have these men giving their time for local kids like us. Although I never worked for them during the summer tobacco season I certainly recall the good reputation that the Okolisan's had within the farming community and the Rodney area in general. Steve was a good man and will be missed. My sincere sympathies to the family.

Tracey, Jason and the Okolisan family. I was deeply saddened when I received the news about Uncle Steve. Our thoughts are with you. We are so saddened to hear about the passing of your dad, Tracey and Jay. I remember him most for his generous heart when he bought Ruth and Isabelle the large stuffed animal frog that was from the Discovery channel. How thoughtful that was!
