Diana, Just heard about your mom. My deepest sympathies to you and the family. Your mom was so kind and sweet. I enjoyed talking with her whenever we were visiting in Rodney. Diana and family: Death brings pain that time can only heal, No words could ease what we truly feel, But with God, her joy is eternally sealed, And cherish her memories that death cannot steal. Lift up a smile for she is already in heaven. We have very fond memories of both your mom and dad. Cherish all the memories that you have of your parents. The slideshow tribute that the funeral home has here online is a great tribute to both of your parents and all your family. Thanks for sharing. My friendship with Marion goes back to our wonderful days spent at Highland Village in Lakeland Florida where we met line dancing. We became very close friends and we looked forward every fall to getting back to life at the Village and all the social functions that we attended with Earl and my late husband Frank. These are precious memories that we would reminisce about whenever we talked which was usually around Christmas time. Rest in peace my dear friend and my condolences to Diana and family. Diana words alone couldn't even start to tell you how we thought of your Mom but just know- we thought the world of her. She was a beautiful lady inside/outside. Although Don's family has known your Mom and Dad even before your arrivial, they know that your parents were the best! It was hard for your Mom the last couple of years but she did her best and now she's with the best-her partner forever. With being an only child it must be hard but I must stay they(Earl/Marion sure did split 50/50 ) making you! You look like one and sound,act and think like the other which is the best of both right. Remember all the memories they made with you throughout the years and you'll ease the pain alittle. You made them both so very proud with 3 wonderful grandchildren, each one different but they loved them all the same, They couldn't of been more Proud of them or you.
