went to be with his Lord and Saviour, peacefully at his home, on Wednesday February 19, 2014, Tom Bergsma of Strathroy, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Hendrika (2010). Loving father of Joyce Power (Brian), Neil (Corrine), and Ron (Ivan). Dear Opa to Chris, Patrick and Jade. Survived by his 4 brothers and a sister. Predeceased by his son Tommy (1967), his parents, and 3 brothers. Visitation will be held at Strathroy East Christian Reformed Church, 476 Metcalfe Street E, Strathroy on Monday from 2-6 p.m. where the memorial service will also be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Derek Bouma officiating. Private interment in Strathroy Cemetery. In memory of Tom, donations may be made to the Strathroy Community Christian School or the VON Middlesex-Elgin Foundation.
