Obituary of Rosemarie Croswell

Peacefully passed at her home, with family by her side at 5:30a.m on December 23rd, 2013. She was born to the late Rose and Frank Kellestine on May 15th, 1945. Rosemarie worked tirelessly as both a member of the board of directors, and treasurer for the Senior Center. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed a long term of service with the Strathroy Legion Branch 116, reaching the rank of Zone Commander. She was also treasurer and sat on the board of directors for the Grand Bend Art Center. Rosemarie was a Sister, a Mother, a Stepmother, a Grandmother, and a Great-Grandmother, (GG and Me-Ma). She was a Wife and a soul mate. She leaves behind her children Teresa, and Peter Phillips, Rae and Larry Driessens, Robyn and Herbie Pierce, Cheryl Jessop and Mark Croswell, as well as 15 Grandchildren, and 15 Great Grandchildren. Rosemarie always had time for her family and brought joy, happiness and a smile into all those lives she touched. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and community. Visitation will be held on Thursday December 26th, 2013 at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy, from 1-4p.m and 7-9p.m. A funeral Service will be held on Friday December 27th at 11a.m with interment to follow at Strathroy Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Society of Canada or the Strathroy Legion Branch 116.
