Maggie and Family. My deepest sympathies to all of you. I'm not sure if you remember me but I was one of the honoures at this years Casino Strathroyal along with Ron. I remember thinking when he was up on stage speaking now this man is going to survive this. He had such a great attitude. Unfortunately God had other plans for Ron. He is now your Guardian Angel. My heart is broken for you and your family. May God give you peace and strength during this difficult time.

It is with such fondness and smiles that we remember the 'good old days' at LGT in music ministry together. Ron was such a faithful and integral part of what we did every Sunday and was never weary in the hours spent in ministry, whether it was a choir, special, worship team or endless hours of rehearsals and performances of The Singing Christmas Tree! Those were such fun and fulfilling times and provide us with great side stories of happenings like falling out of the trees and the friendships that we all felt throughout those great years. The last time we saw Ron was July of 2012 at the African Lion Safari when he was there with the kids....we had our whole clan there too. We took pics for each other and had a lovely spontaneous visit. We won't understand why Gods appointed time was so early for Ron, that is definitely the hard part of this Homegoing, but we are comforted in the blessed fact that Ron was definitely ready to go and spend eternity with His Saviour and Heavenly Father whom he sang about and worshiped all his life. We will see you again Ron....and have a great HOMECOMING SINGALONG together again. In the meantime you will indeed be missed, ESP by your Maggie and your dear children, but we pray that the Lord's comfort and peace will help them understand that through it all, our lives are in the very Hands of God!

As Ron’s team leader, I can tell you that he was known throughout the office as a consummate gentleman, always selflessly offering his assistance to others. I have personally known him to look out for others, even putting in a good word for them if he felt they were getting left behind in job promotions. Because of his constant caring for others, and his genuine unceasing friendliness to others, Ron’s reach extended beyond his immediate work unit, into other floors and departments of the organization more than anyone else I know. Ron will be deeply missed by his immediate team, his many colleagues and by me. On behalf of his team, I offer our deepest condolences to Maggie, Lindsay, Colin and Sarah - and to the rest of Ron’s many loved ones.
