Obituary of Ethel Parker

PARKER, Mrs. ETHEL Peacefully on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at South Huron Hospital, Ethel Parker of Grand Bend, formerly of Watford, in her 91st year, passed away. Beloved wife of the late Bill Parker, who predeceased her in 1995, loving mother of Lois Wallis and her husband Roger Wallis, of Grand Bend and Leann Nichols and her husband, Chris Nichols, also of Grand Bend. Wonderful grandmother of Charlotte Antill (Gavin) of Grand Bend, Sara Moir (Bevan) of Stratford, Brad Nichols (Adrienne) of Ancaster and Adam Wallis of Sydney, Australia; and cherished great-grandmother of Julia, Addison, Ryann, Neve and Chloe. Ethel was born and raised in Saskatchewan on August 24, 1922 to parents Charles and Gena Norlin, the seventh child of nine. She is predeceased by siblings Lillian, Olga, Hazel, Esther, Mabel, Edward and Albert; survived by sister and brother-in-law Doris and Lawrence Parker, and brother-in-law Karl Wulff all of Saskatchewan; also survived by sister-in-law Hazel Parker of Watford. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Visitors will be received from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at the WATFORD CHAPEL OF DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 232 Warwick Street, Watford. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 12:30pm. Interment Watford Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
