Obituary of Harley Walker

WALKER Peacefully with his family by his side, at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury, on Wednesday, January 9th, 2008, Harley L. Walker of West Lorne, in his 70th year. Born in Chatham, son of Newton and Freda Walker, Harley was active in many sports, service clubs and community groups throughout his lifetime. Dearly loved husband of 43 years to Roseanne (Cowan); dear father of Paula (Jeff Duncan) of Renfrew and Janine Walker of Alberta; dear brother of Robert (Shirley), Ronald (Marie), Gerald (Dorothy), William (Earla) and Gloria Johnston; and special brother in law of Caren (Steve Emery), Barb Walker, Donna and Jim Laceby, Lorraine and Allan Peckham, Frank and Pam Cowan; loved son in law of Bob and Irene Cowan; special "Poppa" to Desmond, Linda, Josh, Jake and Jenna Ryerse-McQuade; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Harley was predeceased by brothers Gary, Jack, Bev, Dennis, Ted and brothers in law Bob Johnston and Chris Cowan. Friends may call at the West Lorne Chapel on Sunday, January 13th, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where parish prayers will be offered at 7pm. Funeral mass at St. Mary's R.C. Church, West Lorne on Monday at 11am, Fr. W.Gutowski celebrant. Cremation.
