At Country Terrace Nursing Home on Saturday, January 6, 2007, Wilhelmina (Vanderberg) Bens formerly of Strathroy and the Netherlands in her 87th year. Predeceased by her husband John Bens (2000). Dear mother of Nellie Sauve Lerch and William Lerch of Madoc, Gerrie (2005) and Joseph Van Dun of Petrolia, Tina and Leo Verberne of Strathroy, Henry and Janis Bens of Strathroy and John and Harriet Bens of Dorchester. Loving grandmother of Carol and John, Rich, Lori and Mark, Joanne and her friend Dean, Linda and Andrew, David and Monica, Brian and Angela, Amanda and her friend Nick, Adam, Aaron and Joshua. Beloved great-grandmother of Connor, Tyler, Alexa, Cierra, Jayna, Aiden, Nathan (2000), Ryan, Dylan and Sarah. Visitation will be held in the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 from 3:00-5:00 P.M. and 7:00-9:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Wednesday January 10, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. Parish prayers will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at 6:30 P.M. Donations to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by Wilhelmina's family.
