Obituary of Nelson Johnson

Peacefully at Country Terrace, Komoka on Monday, September 17, 2007. Nelson James Johnson of Strathroy in his 100th year. Beloved husband of the late Marguerite Johnson (Purdy) (1991). Survived by his niece and nephew and their families. Predeceased by his sister Gladys Eastman and brother Russell Johnson. Nelson was a long time member of the Strathroy United Church and Past Lieutenant Governor of the Kiwanis Club. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Wednesday, September 19 from 7-9 PM. A Masonic Service under the direction of Ionic Lodge #328 Napier will be held Wednesday at 6:30 PM. A funeral service will be held at the Strathroy United Church, Strathroy on Thursday, September 20 at 11 AM with Rev. Jock Tolmay officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery.
