Obituary of Corrie Nywening

At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Monday, October 1, 2007. Kornelia (Corrie) Nywening (Sikma) of Strathroy in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of the late John (Jan) Nywening (2003). Loving mother of John Carl Nywening and his wife Tracy of Strathroy, Carl William Nywening of Strathroy and Richard Wayne Nywening and his wife Ursula of Strathroy. Dear grandmother of Ashley, Candice and Travis Nywening. Sister of Frances Sikma, Edith and Ted Kloostra, and Irene and Henry Bulthuis. Also survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Ed and George Sikma and her sister Margaret & Lawrence Simonse. Visitation at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Wednesday, October 3 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held at Westmount Christian Reformed Church, Strathroy on Thursday, October 4 at 11 AM with Pastor Walter De Ruiter officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
