Obituary of Elaine Renee Adrienne Cattrysse

Suddenly, at her home, on December 17th, 2024, Elaine Cattrysse, passed away in her 74th year. 

Beloved mother to Renee (Paul) Robinson, Angela (Adam) O'Dell, Karelyn (Scott) Ryckman, Naadine (Jeremy) Renneboog, Jareld (Tamara) Cattrysse and Erica (Damian) Cattford. 

Adored Metje to Benjamin and Owen Stobie and Andrea Tripp; Gillian, Grant and Lacey O'Dell; and Alexis, Maddison and Everlea Ryckman. 

Survived by her siblings Dianne (Tony) Strybosch, Maurice (Janet) Cattrysse, Linda Cattrysse and Lorraine (Mark) Colpaert.

Predeceased by her loving parents Julien (2005) and Irene (2019) both natives of Belgium, and her brother Jerome (2012). 

Lovingly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.  

Elaine will be laid to rest with her children, grandchildren, and her immediate family members with a private gathering in the coming days.

 Cremation will take place.  We invite you all to keep her memory close to you until we gather in the spring for a Celebration of Elaine's Life; when the tulips, crocus and daffodils are in full bloom and life begins again.   Elaine would love to see you then to share memories and laughter at a picnic during her favorite time of the year; with good food and great company.  A formal invitation will be shared at a later date.
