Obituary of Andrea Vanderjeugd

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Andrea Vanderjeugd, on November 16, 2024, at the age of 94. Predeceased by her loving husband Alfons, (1976), and her dear sons Ronny (1952), and Ronnie (2017). Andrea is survived by her daughter-in-law Noreen, her grandchildren Christopher (Jen), Mellissa (Dave), and Valerie (Zach), and great grandchildren Ayden, Ehren, Austin, Nathan, Nickolas, Mikayla, Amelia, Lyla, and Cohen. She is predeceased by her siblings, apart from her surviving dear sister, Agnes, in Belgium. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Andrea loved being outdoors, growing vegetables, and being surrounded by flowers of all kinds and colours.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Strathmere Lodge for providing such great care for Andrea.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Over Cancer.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21^st, 2024, from 10am, until the time of the service at 11am, at Denning’s of Strathroy. Interment will follow at Strathroy Cemetery.
