Obituary of Walter Feddema

Peacefully with family by his side, on Sunday, November 10th, 2024, at Strathmere Lodge, Walter Feddema, passed away at the age of 80 to be with his Lord and Saviour. 

Loving husband of Effie Feddema, of 58 years. Cherished dad of Helen (Rick) Evans and Jamie (Jennifer) Feddema.  Devoted Grandpa of Andrew (Amanda) Evans and Carson Feddema (Emily Kuchta) and great-grandpa of Raya Evans.  Dear brother of the late John (the late Rennie Feddema and her late husband William Luinstra), the late Jake (the late Linda) Feddema, the late Jane (Frank) VanderHeide, Greta (the late Klaas) Huizinga, Anne (Bob) Wieringa and brother-in-law of the late Dianne (the late Wendall) VandenHazel, Ben (Pauline) Huberts, Terry (Dale) Huberts.  Walter will be sadly missed by many extended family members and dear friends.  

A special thanks to the caring staff at Strathmere Lodge for all their care and support for Walter. 

Friends will be received at Providence United Reformed Church, 447 Second St. for visitation on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.  A Funeral Service will be held at Providence United Reformed Church, 447 Second St., Strathroy, on Friday, November 15th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Harry Zekveld officiating.  Interment in Strathroy Cemetery.  

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada would be acknowledged by the family.
