I'm very saddened to hear of the passing of my Uncle Jim. He was my only Uncle on the Kersey side and Steph and Jacqui my only cousins on the Kersey side. Growing up, we spent lots of time in Strathroy visiting Uncle Jim and Aunt Kathy, swimming in their pool or tobagganing down the hill in the backyard. I can still hear Jim's laugh, it was infectious. Jim and Kathy were always gracious and I cherish the memories. Aunt Kathy, Steph and Jacqui, I'm so sorry for your loss and hope all the wonderful memories you shared together bring you some comfort. Love Lisa (Porteous) and family

I am so deeply saddened to read of Jim's passing. He was a kind, gentle man who deeply loved his family and took immense pride in his business and serving so magnificantly the citizens of Strathroy and area. I'll always cherish our conversations either at Kersey's Men's Wear or Entertainment Tonight where I looked forward to serving his beautiful family. He invested extra time searching for a green overcoat and sports jacket for me and now whenever I wear one of his bowties I shall do so with even greater admiration. Rest peacefully.

We met Jim and Kathy at Forest Lake Estates in Zephyrhills, Florida. We have many fond memories of dinners, golf games and the laughs that we shared over the years. Jim's laugh was infectious and his expressions were always priceless especially when our daughter was down and came back from shopping and couldn't believe the number of shopping bags she had. Our deepest sympathy to Kathy and family. Jim will be dearly missed.

Kathy and family:
Our condolences at this difficult time.
We remember the times that Mom (Kathleen Butler) did the alterations for Kersey's. Jim would come to the house and always say "Now Kathleen, no rush, just get to it when you can." Going to the store and seeing Mr. Kersey sitting at the back of the store.
May all the precious memories help you at this time.

Kathy and Family,
Please accept our Deepest Sympathy in your loss.
Jim always had a smile for everyone he met and always made the people smile back. I remember several times purchasing clothing at Kerseys Mens Wear which were always top notch and Jim always made you feel so special! His handshakes were never to be forgotten.
The last time I saw Jim was when he and Kathy joined me on a day tour with Ilderton Tours. We had a bit of a catch-up visit at the time. I so enjoyed seeing them both as I also remembered Kathy from my time at SMGH on the Surgery Floor.
Treasure your many memories of him and hold them close to your hearts where he will always remain and remember that
LOVE never dies.
RIP Jim
Sincerely,
Edward and Linda Fox (RNA)
