Following retirement in 2001, Lawrence and Linda moved to Bayfield where he became an active member of the Bayfield Angler’s Association. In 1964, as a teenager, he and a group of young musician friends formed a dance band called “The Casuals”. They became quite popular, playing for dances at the local high school in Parkhill, at the hall in Ilderton, at the London Fair and many other venues. In later years, he and Linda enjoyed cruising in their classic Ford Mustang and attending local car shows with family and friends.
