Obituary of Ross Miller

With heavy hearts the family of Ross Ellwood Miller announce his peaceful passing, surrounded by the love of his family on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital.

Beloved husband of the late Margery Link (July 2002). Precious and devoted Dad of Heather Miller (Roger Jobson), Tracy (Lorne) Benedict and Gayle Miller (Paul Pickard). Cherished Grandpa Ross of Monique (Luke Wilkinson), Laura (Andrew McLachlan), Mitchell (2005), Megan and Carly Benedict and Katie MacKichan. Sadly missed by Abigail (Jesse) Pauley and their daughter Eleanor.

Fondly remembered by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ron and Marlene Link of Cayuga and several nieces and nephews and their families. Ross will be missed by many Miller and Henshaw cousins. Predeceased by his parents Ellwood and Eva (Henshaw) Miller and his sister and brother-in-law Sheila and Lawrence Greenslade (2023) and their sons David (2019) and John (2006).

Dad was a proud farmer through and through. He worked hard and enjoyed life on the 2^nd concession of Caradoc surround by so many good neighbors and friends. He never passed up a game of euchre, a good horse pull or a Caesar. He will be missed beyond words.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 16^th, 2024 from 4:00-7:00pm at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. A funeral service will take place the following day Saturday, August 17^th, 2024 at 11am. Interment to follow at Cooks Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Mt. Brydges Legion. As an expression of sympathy, a donation to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital foundation, an act of kindness or simply raise a glass in memory of Ross would be appreciated by the family.
