Obituary of Donna Jean Jackson

Peacefully, at Watford Quality Care, with her family by her side, on Saturday, May 4^th, 2024 Donna Jean Jackson (nee McKinlay) in her 93^rd year. 

Cherished wife of the late Edwin Jackson (1998).  Loving and devoted mother of Doug Jackson, Bob (Linda) Jackson, Jessie (the late Carlos) Pineda, the late Rick (Laurie) Jackson, Terry (Shirley) Jackson and April (Robert) White.  Dear grandma to many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  Donna was the eldest girl of 6 sisters and 7 brothers and will be missed by their surviving families.  Donna will be remembered by many nieces and nephews, family and friends. 

Donna worked for several years as a mail lady with Canada Post.  She was a lady who helped many in any way she could.  She was the go-to person to help with anything from giving life back to a plant to knitting and sewing items for many; including mittens for daycares and slippers for those at the hospital.  You name it – she was always wanting to help.

The family would like to thank all the nurses and staff at Watford Quality Care for their kind and loving care they provided mom over the years.

Friends will be received at the DENNING’S OF WATFORD, on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held in the Denning’s of Watford Chapel on Thursday, May 9^th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.  Interment in Watford Cemetery.
