My condolences to the Blain family in another loss of a fine parent. Wilbert was always great to talk to with his style of humour and a hard working man. He was a respected family man and member of the community whose skills in those areas I was fortunate enough to witness many times. His life has made a positive impact that extends well beyond the family.

It is with sadness that I offer my condolences again so soon to the Blain family. Your dad was such an incredible father, grandfather, husband, friend, teacher and so much more. I remember how kind and warm he was and he always made me laugh. I so enjoyed trips to your home and time spent with your family. No doubt Tim played a big role in the amazing “old truck” tribute that I just watched. It was special. The obituary is lovely and interesting and offers insight into Wilbert, much of which I did not have before. Thank you for sharing. Sending warmest of wishes to you all at this sad time. What a life! We are saddened to once again be sending our deepest sympathies to your family on the passing of your father. We can not imagine how devastated you must be to have lost both parents so close together. Mike did not get to know your father as much as he did your mother, having meals with her every day all those months, but he did know what a kind and devoted couple they were. We are sure it gives you some peace knowing they are together again in Heaven. Our thoughts are with you. Mike Houseman and Janis.

My condolence with the passing of mom and dad. Mom as activity director at beatty manor always asked me to entertain residence with the Christian songs and old hits. Wonderful relationship. Through mom got to know dad also loving couple. Was a blessing to have known them.
