To all of Lois’s family and friends I am so sorry for your loss.
I first met Lois many moons ago in Fort Smith. We happened to be in the same heavy equipment training school together and we hit it off right from the get go. We had a lot of fun and became longtime friends after that. She was so adventurous and really loved to learn and try new things. Huge heart and great friend she was. I sure will miss our visits and laughter we shared together. I truly was blessed to have her in my life. Rest in peace my friend.

Lois
You were bold with a code of ethics that focused on integrity and authenticity.
You learned new things and taught others with humility and compassion.
You had faith, served others, laughed and cried and suffered.
You shared with your friends the generosity of your time.
You loved your children and your grandchildren and Sheriff.
The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. Numbers 6: 24-26
I miss you sister, mine. Love Ruth Ann

Sorry to hear of Lois passing. Lois and her sisters would babysit my sister and I. Although it’s been years since I’ve seen her,(a girls weekend up north, with her and her chickpeas …..inside joke) I remember her beautiful smile. My condolences to the family. Hugs to you all. Xo

I am sorry to hear of Lois’ passing. I worked with Lois in the NT and she always appreciated her coworkers. She always thanked everyone at the end of shift for their hard work, it was appreciated in an often thankless job. She was dependable and a hard worker. She has definitely been missed since she got sick and left our workplace. Condolences to her family and friends.

My condolences to Allan, Annette, David and their families. Lois and I spent many a day working together and I enjoyed her bubbly personality. She was hard working and always had a smile on her face no matter how adverse the weather would be on the farm. Lois would also happily pitch in and help with charitable fundraisers in her spare time. She was a friend to all.
Lois will be missed by many.

Having worked with Lois for many years both in the workplace and as part of the Union of Northern workers and being her friend she was often on my mind.
This past week I had been thinking of her and wondering how she was doing and then I heard of her passing. I am truly saddened by her passing. Lois was a private person, but she shared some of her life experiences with me. She was quick to smile and felt strongly about helping others.
She felt strongly about her causes and she supported many of them. Attached you will find 2 pictures from when Lois organized installation of rainbow crosswalks in our community and also when she volunteered at the BBQ for the Day against Homophobia.
She will be fondly remembered and missed.
