It is with sadness the family announces Mary Elizabeth Ross’ peaceful passing, surrounded by her loving family, on January 31, 2024, one month after her 93rd birthday. Beloved wife of the late Roy Ross (2017) of 66 years. Loving mother of David Ross and Joanne (nee Kippax) and Carl Ross and late Rhonda (nee Tate). Proud grandmother of 7; Michael, Tina, Lindsay, Tara, Mathew, Dean, and Bridget. Dear great-grandmother of 10; Katelyn, Bruce, Trent, Grace, Cassie, Caden, Melody, Aeris, Leo, and Forest.
Mary was born to her parents Sebastien Heinstein and Katherine (nee Meyer) Heinstein on January 2nd, 1931, in Lake Lanore, Saskatchewan (144 km NE of Saskatoon). She married the love of her life, Roy Ross at age 20. Mary is predeceased by her two sisters Katie Weigand and Theresa Knoch.
