Obituary of Bonnie Barbara Wellington
It is with heavy hearts the family of Bonnie Wellington announces her peaceful passing on January 4th, 2024 at the age of 71. Loving wife of Ian Wellington for 52 wonderful years. Cherished mother of Wendy (Murray) Finch, the late Lisa Wellington and Brent (Lesley) Wellington. Proud grandma of Chelsea, Eric, Cameron, Megan, Sydney, McKenna, Austin, Isla, Henry and Rhys. Beloved by her fur babies the late Duffy and Arlo. Bonnie will be missed by her sister-in-law Carol Hagan(Owen) and by her nieces Heather, Kerry, Kelly, Tara and their families. She will be missed by many extended family members and her special friends.
Bonnie had a love for animals. She rescued many of her much-loved dogs. She was an avid gardener and took much pride in her gardens. Bonnie loved her grandchildren. She was always there to support them in all of their achievements. Bonnie was a woman of many talents, from baking and decorating cakes, to collecting the many items she displayed so perfectly. She enjoyed volunteering within her community. Her family was her pride and joy.
A visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF FOREST on January 10th, 2024 from 11:00-1:00pm. A private service will take place, with interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
