Howard Charles Hartle

Howard Charles Hartle passed away peacefully at the North Lambton Lodge on November 26^th, 2023, in his 82^nd year.  Beloved Husband of the late Leslee Hartle (Gark) (2022).

Proud father of Dwayne, Scott (Kim), Shawn (Tammy). Cherished grandfather of Steven, Emily, Rayna and Brayden. Brother of Brenton (Barb) and Richard (Mary). Predeceased by his parents Edward & Jean Hartle, brother-in-law Gord (Noella) and Richard (Cathy).

Howard started his working career as a crane operator and substituting on Sundays as a lay minister for many years. After completion of his degree and teaching certificate, Howard taught elementary school and then went on to be a principal with the Lambton Board of Education.  Retiring in 1997, Howard continued his love of traveling by driving coach bus for 10 years. 

Howard enjoyed his family and spending his time with his farming, poker, and fishing buddies.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday November 29^th, 2023, from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at Denning’s in Forest located at 9 James Street S, Forest, ON. Followed by the funeral service on Thursday, November 30^th, 2023, at 11am at St. James Presbyterian Church located at 19 Main Street N, Forest, ON.  Interment Hillsboro cemetery.  Share a memory at www.forestfuneralhome.com
