To my big brother Peter,
When I was afraid to sit on Santa’s knee, you stood with me.
When I was nervous on my first day of school, you made sure I was standing in the right line.
When I was bullied in the second grade by a fifth grader, you washed his face with snow.
When I was too sick to walk home from school, you got me home – by piggyback.
When my car broke down, you came to fix it.
When I ran into roadblocks, you cleared the way.
When I needed support, you were always there.
When I told you how very grateful I am for you, and for all the times you got me out of trouble – you said that you probably got me into more trouble than you got me out of. Always humble, always a great sense of humour.
When I see you again, I’ll tell you again …
With much love and gratitude, from your little sister Jayne.

Peter was a great guy and good at everything, he was a jack of all trades. He always put his family first and had that smile on his face. He was my friend, my pal and the guy i can hang out with and have beer or two. My fondest memories of having Chinese food and Bingo .Driving into Toronto for a Blue Jays game or just hanging out. My deepest sympathy goes out to Glenna and the family.
REST IN PEACE my brother from another Mother love you man.

To my Peter who earned the nick name from me , was Mere because he loved me for me and taught me many things, so I called him my mere, he would take me in his arms and give me the biiggest hugs and dance with me with such love and kindness. I will love for now and forever, but there is an empty spot in my heart right now but we will see each other again and that hole will be filled again with love. you are truly one of a kind, so caring and funny and I miss that already. Out of pain and at peace. Love you forever, sending hugs and will be waiting for our dance. Love you mere. Glenna (your wife) or as you called me " Denna" xoxoxo

Pete was an amazing friend and father, we are so blessed to have him apart of our family. Anyone who know Pete or crossed paths with him would know he was a funny and very caring person. He would always go out of his way to make you laugh or feel loved.
There are so many memories I will always cherish from him like sitting at the fire pit listening to his dad jokes, seeing him win or lose at bingo or even just sitting down with him while he was cooking at the BBQ. I have to admit Pete was an master behind the grill. He would at times do a little dance or funny faces to make you laugh or just smile, also will miss hearing him say " Hi Kiddo", or "love you kid".
He had a big heart too! He would always be there for you when you need help, a good laugh or just needed a big bear hug.
He is an amazing person, a wonderful father and will be forever cherished in our hearts.

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Peter.
Our heartfelt condolences to all who loved him.
His wit and sense of humour was always uplifting. He had an ability to pull a smile from where there may have not have been one.
He will always be the brightest star above.
Thank you Peter for just being you.
