My deepest condolences to the whole family. I was in the bible study group with Elizabeth many years ago. Elizabeth had such a warm and loving way about her that she always made you feel so welcome & loved. She will be greatly missed.

To the family of Elizabeth. Please accept my sympathy at this sad time.
Elizabeth and I belonged to the same prayer/bible study group at All Saints Church many years ago.
I will always remember her inviting us, about 8 of us, over to her home for a lovely home cooked meal one afternoon.
Sincerely, Margaret

Love always to you Grandma, your passing has left a hole in our fabric of being, but as i sit and look back at all the fond moments and good times our family and friends have had with you by our side, i can only imagine that hole being mended by the love and kindness you always showed all of us. May you forever be remembered in our thoughts and our hearts. Love you Grandma.

Grandma, you were always there for me from day one. You had such a big heart and always had a smile on your face. You will always have a part of my heart as you were a special part of my my life. To making jello, gingerbread bread houses, pizza hut restaurant nights, easter egg hunts, chasing chickens around the farm, cooking in the kitchen together, watching skating and movies together and telling me to eat more; the memories will last a lifetime. I could go on forever about how great of a grandmother you were. I feel honored to be your granddaughter and deeply miss you. ❤️

We are profoundly sorry to hear about Elisabeth’s passing. She was my aunt and a wonderful person who was supportive of and so dear to many among her family and friends. In our many conversations over the years, we would share many, many wonderful—and perhaps not-so-wonderful—memories from our native land of Yugoslavia. I will miss all that. May she rest in peace, and our deepest condolences to her lovely husband, Istvan, children, Helen and Laszlo, grandchildren, and family.
Megyek az úton, de ne sirassatok.
Földi életemből csak ennyi jutott.
Isten, minden embernek kimérte,
Kinek hol a kezdete, és hol a vége.

She was my confirmation godmother or “Korosmama”. She was such a sweetheart and loved her family and friends and that was obvious to all who knew her. She was like a sister to mom and she will be greatly missed. My condolences to the family and to all that knew and loved her.

A true angel…The Bakai family will never be the same without you. You sacrificed any and everything to help your family in good and bad. I’m short for words as this great loss is still unfolding. My heart goes out to the rest of my family during these difficult times. Love Brandon

Elizabeth met and fell in love with her life-long partner, Steve, and was married October 10, 1954. They raised their children, Helen and Laslo, with unconditional love. In 1965, Steve and Elizabeth crossed the ocean with their young family to start a new life in Canada.
She lived for her family. She sacrificed time, energy and more for her family. She chose to live with less to wrap her family in love.
Elizabeth fought so hard to her last minute, determined to stay with her family. She lives on in the memories of her two children, four grandchildren, and a host of loving grandchildren.
