Obituary of Kevin Shawnoo

SHAWNOO

Peacefully, at his home in Kettle Point on Thursday, August 17^th, 2023.  Reynold Kevin Shawnoo at the age of 64 left this world but not before leaving behind a legacy of being a great father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to so many. 

Dearly remembered by his grandchildren; Oojuan, William, Wabigwan, Auzhinii, Binojii, Mariah (Skinny), Laz (Chops), Derwin, Junior, Emmett, Skye, Sy and Zay.

Also remembered by his sisters; Selina Shawnoo, Carolyn Smith and Colleen Shawnoo.  And his brothers Kelly and John Shawnoo.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews and his two step daughters; Mary Waboose Lunham and Shawana Chippewa.

Predeceased by his daughter; Sunshine Rose Shawnoo, step-daughter, Segwen Lunham-Traver, and parents Coleman Emery and Leatrice Shawnoo.

Friends are welcome to join the family for a visitation and wake service Monday evening at 7 pm at Kettle Point United Church as well as a visitation for Kevin on Wednesday, August 23^rd, 2023 at Kettle Point United Church from 12-2 pm followed by a funeral at 2 pm, conducted by Pastor Murray Shawnoo.
