Lee Shackelton, a devoted husband, step-father, and beloved member of his family and community, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer in his 54th year on Sunday, July 23rd, 2023. He was a remarkable and compassionate man who faced life's challenges with unwavering strength and love. 

Lee is survived by his loving wife Carol,  his step-children, family members, friends, and his loyal companion, Bullitt.

Throughout his life, his love and kindness touched the hearts of all those fortunate enough to know him. He will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and the love he shared with those closest to him.

In his short 54 years of life, Lee dedicated 32 of those years to Ford Motor Company in St. Thomas and Oakville. He left an enduring legacy and an endless amount of laughter to those around him. 

As we bid farewell to Lee, we carry his memory with us, cherishing the laughter, love, and moments he shared. His spirit will forever be etched in our hearts, a guiding light that will continue to inspire us as we navigate life's challenges.

We love you and will miss you forever.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 30^th, 2023 from 2:00p.m.-4:00p.m. at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 31^st, 2023 at 11:00a.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Strathroy.  As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the London Regional Cancer Program.
