My condolences to the Thompson family. Jim was a very sincere man. I’ve known him since I was a little girl, most fond of the trips to the office with my grandma Donna. Lord bless you, as you go to meet our Lord and Saviour.

Aunt Trudi and dear cousins,
Whenever I spent anytime with Uncle Jim I always left feeling uplifted. I will never be able to thank the both of you enough for helping plant the first seeds of faith. I still have my children’s bible from you both! I will miss him greatly. Missy xoxo

Trudi and family. We are sorry for your loss. His smiles and greetings on Sunday mornings at Bethel will be missed. Praying for all during this difficult time.
2 Cor 1:3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

Our most heartfelt condolences to you all in the passing of a husband, father, and grandfather. Jim was always in a happy mood, loved telling tall tales and jokes to anyone who had the time. We will continue to uphold you all in prayer, and pray that you feel the love of God around you.
Sincerely,
Arnolda and Ralph Baker.

I worked with Jim and Trude for years and Jim was always quick to tell a story or a joke and constantly made everyone laugh. He was great at what he did and always did the best job for families he served. He took his work very seriously and helped a lot of people.
I have many fond memories of Jim and Trudi over the years whether at work or just over a coffee or a drink. Those memories will stay with me forever!
I sure will all miss you Jim!
My sincere condolences to Trudi and the family at this sad time.

I will always remember Jim, when we were together at Harmony Woods, and I remember the day they brought their trailer in. I remember listening to his stories of their travel adventures, particlularly the one of the Alaska trip. The Woods will not be the same without him. Rest in peace my friend.

I met Jim 3 years ago when I purchased a trailer near his in Parkhill, Ontario. Jim and Trudi took me under their wing and always provided me with love and support. I was proud to call him my “JimJim”. I will miss him dearly.

We have known Jim and Trudi for over 50 years, since our time together at Gesthemane Church in London. We visited back and forth between Ottawa and Strathroy after we returned from London. We fondly remember good times at the cottage (Jim helped us build a picnic table) and swimming in the pool at their first house in Strathroy. And we still use our high quality Snap-on tools which Jim supplied. Most of all, we remember the hilarious conversations we used to have. With growing family responsibilities our visits became less frequent, but the fond memories remain. We will miss you.

Jim was a wonderful friend and had been our financial advisor for many many years. He always had a great story to tell my late husband and I when he and his wonderful wife, Trudi would come to our home for coffee and was never in a hurry to leave. I will miss him, but know that he is in a better place now.
