From the thrilling days of Argo Rally's to the moments on the snowmobile trails, from mastering Archery to dominating the Hockey rink, and the countless fishing escapades in the far north, Lorne's life was a canvas of adventure and skill. A marksmanship master and a legendary figure, he shaped my upbringing in profound ways, leaving an indelible mark on my childhood. To all those who were fortunate to have known him, my deepest condolences go out. May Lorne's legacy continue to inspire us all. Rest in peace, Lorne.

Lorne was was my friend and a great mentor. He taught me everything I know about hunting moose and introduced me to archery hunting whitetail at home. He found me my first bow and patiently taught me how to shoot. Then he taught me how to hunt them. I will always miss our Sunday mornings in the bush or our Church as he called it. I have never hunted with anyone like him before and likely never will. He will be missed.
