Obituary of Emily Rose McLean

Emily Rose McLean 

With family by her side on June 8th, 2023, Emily passed away peacefully at the age of 23. Emily was the treasured daughter of Patti and John Toonen, and the late Michael McLean. She was the much-loved sister of her stepsiblings Brittany and T.J. (Brianne), and her half-siblings Wade and Michelle. Emily was the cherished granddaughter of Tom and the late Jean Wheeler, and the late Grant and the late Joanne McLean. She was the loving girlfriend of Jordan Lawson. Emily will be deeply missed by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. She will also be truly missed by her amazing group of close friends.  

Emily had an incredible smile that could light up an entire room. She had the ability to make friends everywhere she went, leaving a lasting impression on the hearts of more people than she even knew. She always had a soft spot for animals and cherished her many pets. 

A visitation will be held on Tuesday June 13th, 2023, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Wednesday June 14th, 2023, from 12:00pm until 2:00pm, followed by a memorial service at 2:00pm.
