Sue's little giggle and smile said it all....she loved a good joke or story. I will always remember when Dick and Sue built their house in Carlisle and Sue made a garden at the side of the driveway..so many different irises and peonies and other plants. She was a very caring woman and a great neighbour, friend and cousin.
Love Glen & Liz

Sue was always quick with a joke and often shared tales of her youth that revealed a spirited and (sometimes) wild woman. We were privileged to know Sue and to count her among our friends. Her door was always open to us and we had some fun times together. We will miss Sue - we love you.

So many wonderful memories and stories too numerous to list here. Well maybe just one. As anyone who knows her, knew she had eye issues. When she was just a little girl, she got into mischief and Mom had to deal with it. Of course Sue ran, Mom chased her around the table and out the door. Sue stopped, turned around looked right at Mom with her cross eyes and pigtails and said “You can really move when you want to”. Mom couldn’t be upset at her anymore and she got away without punishment.

Sue's love of animals was felt by all creatures. I will stick to my promise to you and look after Dick. We all miss you so much. My deepest condolences to the Harsen family and everyone who knew her. Sue had a way of bringing a smile to everyone she spoke with. The world is richer for having you grace us with your presence.

A beautiful life-long Spirit has left Carlisle
Eileen and I offer our condolences to Dick, Dennis, Diane and their respective families along with the many friends of Sue’s with her passing.
She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and extremely proud of her entire family in all that they have achieved.
On our weekly Skype calls she would always share a quick story on how everyone was doing along with life in her lifetime residency in the wee village of Carlisle.
One of my favourite memories of Sue is watching her ride into our farm yard on her beautiful horse back in the early Sixties for a visit with brother Dick before he headed off to the fields.
This early love blossomed into a life of adventure together.
Over the past years our visits were always greeted with smiles, great discussions and plenty of laughs.
We will miss you Sue however, your beautiful Spirit is at peace and until we meet again, Rest In Peace.
Peace & Comfort to all you’ve left behind.
Love,
Ken & Eileen.
