She was the definition of a true lady.
Peacefully, surrounded by the love and care of her precious family, Margaret Annette Knapp (Hooley) of Dutton at the age of 88 has been reunited with her beloved husband Francis Knapp (2014) on Friday, May 12th, 2023.
Loving mother of Joe (Ann), Bernie, Larry, Theresa (Lonnie) McCallum, John (Cheri) and Margie (Wayne) Myers.
Cherished mémé of numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her sister Mary Ellen Drummelsmith, grand-daughters Laura and Louise and grand-son Nicholas and her daughter-in-law Emily.
Margaret graduated from the Dutton Highschool and worked for London Life until she married Francis at which time, she started her career farming with her family. She was a devoted member of both St. Helen's and St. Mary's Catholic churches and played the organ for an incredible 68 years.
Friends are welcome to join the family for a time of visitation in Margaret's honour on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023 from 10 to 11 at St. Mary's Church, West Lorne. A funeral Mass will follow at 11 am with interment at St. Helen's cemetery.
