Mary was the best person I ever knew (that is what I found very early in our relationship). She was complete as her compassion for people and loving manner set a benchmark you couldn't deny. We met on the corner of a church property as my friends, and I were racing our cars through the streets of south Windsor. One look driving by compelled me to have to stop ... I walked up and mustered enough courage and talked to her. I instantly fell in Love. We became inseparable after that day. That is where our journey began. Although Life went on and we went our separate ways we never forgot that deep love we shared, never stopped thinking about each other ..... Our souls were forever linked and 35 years later we were reunited by what I simply would say a "miracle" . Happiness is simply just that. No more wondering No more contemplating what if scenarios?. But now knowing of being and feeling complete. I finally in my life as did she, found true love and happiness. We both felt comfortably complete, and everything now was secondary. I believe this only comes once in your life if your lucky and if you achieve this ...... then you hold on with both hands as tight as you can as you never know how long you are lucky enough to keep it. In closing I would like to add that our love transcended time and brought us together for a second chance ....... How truly lucky we both felt. We truly achieved something many individuals never experience. So, I say "Good bye My Dear rest for now" I promise we will meet again our journey is not over .... It just started yet again.
