Obituary of Ruby Iona McIntyre

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Ruby McIntyre on Sunday, March 12^th,  2023 at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy, Ontario, formerly of Lucan, London and R.R. #1 Hyde Park, in her 99th year.  Beloved wife of the late John (Jack) McIntyre (2002).  Cherished mother of Craig (Debbie) McIntyre, Nancy Carroll, Terri McIntyre (George Neil) and Debbie Masse.  Dearly loved by 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  Survived by sisters-in-law Julia McIntyre and Helen Parks.  Predeceased by her parents Hilbert and Hazel Rushton, sisters and brothers-in-law Ruth and Stuart Hogue and Pauline and Clifford Best, sons-in-law Bob Masse and Rick Carroll, granddaughter Lisa Jago, great-granddaughter Hailey Carroll, brothers-in-law Mac McIntyre, Don McIntyre, Ed Dalgity, Cy Parks, and sisters-in law Freda Dalgity and Beth (McIntyre) Burdick.  Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.  At Ruby's request cremation has taken place.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25^th, 2023 from 1-4 p.m. at  Denning's of Strathroy, Ontario.  A private family interment will be held at a later date.  The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all staff at Strathmere Lodge for their exceptional care and compassion. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the First Lobo Baptist Church, Strathmere Lodge Auxiliary or to a charity of your choice.
