I only met Elsie briefly once, but hearing many stories of her made me feel like I knew her and that she a was so loved by her family. My condolences Victor, Deb & your family on the loss of your mum. Hold on to all your memories and fun times together.

We are gathered to remember a strong loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, on this day of her funeral and burial she lived quite a life, one marked with many trials, and tribulations one being a survivor of the holocaust. She has left a very large extended family behind, and her legacy will be remembered and passed on through the generations of our family's. Death is not the end , it is the beginning of our next life. We are all eternal beings Grandma has left her body and has stepped into eternity. Isaiah 40:31 - But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Romans 3:21-26 But now, apart from the law, the righteousness of God has been revealed, as attested by the Law and the Prophets. And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. God presented Him as the atoning sacrifice through faith in His blood, in order to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance He had passed over the sins committed beforehand. He did this to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and to justify the one who has faith in Jesus. James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

I have known Elise for 55 years and she has been a woman of stamina and resilience. She has always had a smile for Linda and I and always made us feel welcome. Condolences to the Hart Family. May she rest in peace.
