Obituary of Leila Jean Rendle

RENDLE, Leila

The family of the late Leila Jean Rendle are sad to announce her passing at Bluewater Health Services in the early morning of March 6, 2023.

Left to mourn are her daughters Jean (Dave) Conder of Delta, B.C., and Joan (Gary) Austin of Aylmer, Ontario.   She was the proud grandparent of Joanne (Pat) Kelley, Adam (Kathy) Austin, Julie Austin, and Jill Sutcliffe of Australia.  Great-grandmother of Ryan, Becky, Andy, Matthew, Kalleigh, Aidan, Rory , Finlay, Brooke, and Luke.  Great-great grandmother of Derek, Luke, and Theo.  She is also remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews from both the Brand and Brandon families.  Survived by her sister-in-law Margaret Brand.  Predeceased by her husbands Oliver Brandon (1945), and Lloyd Rendle (2007), her grandson David Conder (2009), her parents Tom and Tillie Brand, her brothers Bill (late Winnie), and Neil.

Visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF FOREST, 9 James Street South, Forest, on Sunday, March 12, 2023, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm.  Funeral Service to take place at St. James Presbyterian Church on Monday, March 13, 2023, at 2:00 pm.   Reception to follow at the church hall, followed by committal service at Beechwood Cemetery.   Memorial donations would be gratefully accepted to St. James Presbyterian Church, North Lambton Lodge Auxiliary, or to the charity of one’s choice.  Online condolences may be made at www.forestfuneralhome.com
