It is with great sadness that the family of Luisa Vieira Lourenco Melo of Strathroy announces her peaceful passing at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital where she was surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, December 24th, 2022  in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Jose Melo (2008). Dear mother of Aurelio (Carroll) Melo, Elda Melo (John O'Keefe) and Aurelia (Carlos) Almeida. Dear Avó of Jennelle, Emily, Amanda, Victoria, Nathan, Catherine and Isabella. Great Grandmother of Adrian and Merlin.

She was the sister of Daniel Lourenco and Deolinda Lourenco both of California, Natividade Gomes of Toronto, Antonio Lourenco of Massachusetts, and Joao Lourenco of Flores, Azores

Predeceased by her daughter Rosa Maria, brothers Jose Lourenco, Franciso Lourenco, and sister Adelaide Lourenco. She will be dearly missed by many family and friends. Visitation will be held at Denning's of Strathroy on Thursday, December 29th, 2022 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Friday December 30th at 10 AM. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. Donations to the Strathroy Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
