Obituary of Joe-Allan Kleinjan
KLEINJAN
Peacefully, at the home he loved, surrounded by the people he loved, Joe-Allan Kleinjan of Clachan, slipped away from the world, leaving behind so many cherished memories of a life a well lived and an impact made.
Joe was the son of the late Peter and Anne Kleinjan. Joe, along with his brother took over Wire-Tie, the family business from their father, a tradition that continues now into the third generation of Joe’s family, something he was very proud of.
Joe is the beloved husband of Renee Kleinjan. He is also the proud and dear father and opa of Courtney (Justin) and their son Calvin, Chad (Nicole) and their children; Tucker, Miles and Quinn, Mallory, Jo-Lynn (Jake) and Joel (Maddy).
Joe is survived by his brother Pete (Leah) and their son Adam, sisters Rosanne (Kevin) and their children; Ben, Brandon and Molly, Annemarie (Ed) and their children; Paige and Matthew and his step mother, Donna Kleinjan. Also survived by his father-in-law Don (Edna) Clarke and mother-in-law Sandra (Irvin) Ford, brother-in-law Fabio and his children Kelly, Amanda, Michael and Lexis and predeceased by their mother (Joe’s sister, Belinda).
Joe will always be remembered by his cat Marshmallow who was always by his side, or on top of him. A very special thank you to Joe’s homecare friends, Kim Lunn and Ryan Gamble who went above and beyond to make Joe comfortable.
Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation in Joe’s honour on Sunday, December 4th, 2022 at Denning’s of Rodney from 1 – 5 pm. A service of remembrance will take place on Monday at 11 am.
If desired, memorial contributions to the West Elgin Daffodil Society or the Clachan Community Hall would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy.
