My favourite memories were catching my nana before 7am eating chocolate cake in the kitchen corner. She taught me that cake is a perfectly acceptable breakfast food and something I will for sure pass along.
Pictured in the photo with my nana wearing the maxi green dress, she designed this dress and bought the fabric and I sewed this for her back in 2013. Such a special memory as my nana and papa bought me my serger machine that I still use to this day.
Lots of memories to hold onto and look back on. So blessed to have my nana who was thoughtful, compassionate, a great listener, appreciated humour, incredible baker and cook, hospitable, and countless other amazing attributes to name.
Always in my heart and thinking of you nana as I putter in my garden and cut a slice of cake. I love you and can’t wait to see you again! Xoxo
