Obituary of Gary Robin Lowrie

LOWRIE, Mr. Gary Robin

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice of Sarnia on Friday, August 26, 2022, at the age of 84 years.  Survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy, and his children Susan Roger (Peter), Kim Lowrie (Shari), and Mike Lowrie (Michele).   Beloved Grandpa of Mitch, Meghan, Shane, and Alex.  Great-Grandpa of Noelle.

Also survived by his sister Barbara Tomlinson (George), and his brother in law Dave Chamberlain (Sharron).  Gary is also predeceased by his parents, Wallace and Doris Lowrie, from Egremont Road in Warwick.  Gary and his family lived on the home property for his whole life.  

Gary will be missed by all his friends and family, including those in Northern Ontario and Hillsboro, the former Fibreglas company of Sarnia, and Ingersoll-Rand Canada.

Cremation has taken place.   A Celebration of Life will take place at the Forest Legion Branch #176, on Saturday, September 3, 2022, from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm with family remarks at 1:00 pm.   A private family interment will take place at a later date.   For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice.    Online condolences may be left at www.forestfuneralhome.com     Funeral arrangements entrusted to DENNING’S OF FOREST
