I have know the beer family my whole life. I rember coffee at the restaurant well coffee for Don and milk for me. I got to introduce my kids to him last yr . He sat there with a smile on his face
My condolences to Jo Anne, Donna, Catherine and grandchildren. Don and JoAnne have been my neighbours for many years. When ever I saw Don, he had the biggest smile He will be missed by many. Sending Prayers to his family
Cherish all of our memories. My favourite one was when I was down there for a week and we went for walks and walked all the way into town just to get more uno cards, lol I guess two packs weren’t enough, we had to have 8 packs, my hands weren’t big enough to hold all the cards and had to have pails of cards in front of me.
My Dad
One of my best memories.....too many to choose from, but here it goes.
In his much younger days, Dad worked for Ford's auto assembly plant. There was a big Easter draw. Dad won, his prize a probably 18"-24" solid chocolate bunny complete with a basket full of eggs on his back. I stood at the front of our house complaining about how heavy this bunny was while pictures were being taken. I was maybe 5-6. We ate that bunny for a very long time.
So sorry for your loss Joanne. Great memories with Don cutting his hair and having good chats and laughs. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Catherine and family.
