I’ve known Jean since I was a small child on my family’s tobacco farm. Her strength of character, no nonsense attitude, and positivity was a tremendous asset that helped solve many an issue during a crop year. Her kindness to others was unmatched. She will be sincerely missed.

I first knew Jean when our son pastored in West Lorne. She was a very special sweet lady and a joy to know . I visited her a number of times at Sprucedale and always I went with the intention of blessing a shut-in person but I came away lighter in heart and a spring in my step because of the peace and joy that emanated from her amazing personality. David and Jennifer, I’m sure going to miss my evening chats with Jean, and my grocery runs. She was a terrific lady that I’m so proud to have called my friend. The stories she told me and the knitting she gave me will always be remembered fondly. Heaven gained another precious angel. RIP my friend.
