Obituary of Ronald McKellar

McKELLAR, Ronald Jack

 

Passed away peacefully at North Lambton Lodge on Sunday, July 10, 2022, in his 78th year, after a long struggle with Alzheimers. 

Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Scott) for 56 years.  Loving father of Scott (Melanie), Paul, Cheryl (Dwayne), and Brenda (Jamie).  Loved grandfather of Kendra (Matt), Connor, Tieson, Scarlett, R.J., Thomson, Mick, and Paulena.  Survived by his brothers Robert (Bernice) and William (Dianne).   Predeceased by his parents William and Pauline McKellar, his brother Donald, Daniel, and Kenneth.   Survived by his sisters in law  Bonnie and Beverley, and his many nieces and nephews.

 

Visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF FOREST, 9 James Street South, Forest, on Friday, July 15, 2022, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.   A Funeral Service will take place at St. James Presbyterian Church on Saturday afternoon, July 16, 2022, at 2:00 pm.  Those wishing to view the live stream of the Funeral Service are welcome to visit www.forestfuneralhome.com at time of service.    Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery, with a reception at the Forest Legion to follow.  For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or charity of choice.   Online condolences may be left at www.forestfuneralhome.com
